Booking and payment

Your session, ready to book.

Confirm your date and scope with us first, then pay a retainer toward your session — or pay in full and take 5% off. Your date is confirmed separately in writing. Card and bank payment are handled by Stripe, so no card details are typed into this site or stored by it.

01 — What it costs

Current rates.

These figures are read from the booking system as this page loads, not typed into it, so what you see here is what you are charged — and if there is an offer running this month it appears here on its own. Prices exclude any applicable sales tax. Travel beyond the metro area is quoted separately and never added after the fact.

Retainer or in full. A 25% retainer, rounded to the nearest whole dollar, holds your agreed date and comes off the total; the balance is due on delivery. Paying in full up front takes 5% off and holds the date on the same terms. The 5% applies to the whole booking, so it is not available on a retainer. Read the booking, cancellation and delivery terms before paying.

02 — Book and pay

Confirm the details. Then make your payment.

Choose what you are booking and how much to pay now. You will be handed to Stripe’s payment page to enter card or bank details — they are never entered here, and this site never sees them. Please agree on your date and scope with us before paying. Payment alone does not reserve an unconfirmed date. Bank payments may take several business days to clear.

Nothing on this page is a card field. Payment happens on Stripe’s own page and this site is told only whether it succeeded. Session dates are confirmed separately in writing. Read the retainer, cancellation and rescheduling terms, including the family/newborn illness and rain exception, before paying. Questions first? 917-217-7975 or sales@wirewalk.com.

03 — Quoted, not listed

Some work cannot honestly carry a list price.

A wedding is not a unit. Hours of coverage, a second shooter, an album, a rehearsal dinner and a timeline that runs from morning prep to the last dance vary so much between two weddings that a single number on a page would be a guess dressed up as a price. Scripted film is the same: the treatment decides the budget, not the other way round. So these are quoted after we talk, in writing, before anything is booked.

Quoted work

Reading the current list…

Anything else that does not match a line on the rate card — a multi-day shoot, an unusual location, a large team, a retained arrangement across a year — belongs here too.

We will follow up within one business day. A quote comes back in writing, with the usage rights stated in the same document, and nothing is booked until you accept it.

04 — For companies

If your finance team needs an invoice or a purchase order.

Commercial work — team headshots, a workplace day, product, property, video and audio — can be placed on a purchase order and invoiced instead of paid by card. Ask here and we reply within one business day; we confirm availability and any date hold in writing. Tell us if you need an invoice, W-9 or supplier form.

Family, newborn, portrait and pet sessions can be paid online by card or US bank account. Wedding payment terms are confirmed with your quote. For personal sessions, use secure online checkout after confirming your date.

Terms

Net 30

Invoiced against your PO number to the accounts payable address you give, on net 30 terms unless your process says otherwise.

Documents

Whatever procurement needs

We reply to procurement requests within one business day. Certificate of insurance available on request. Tell us which quotation, W-9 or supplier registration you need.

Rights

Stated before, not after

The usage license is written into the quotation, so what your marketing team may do with the pictures is settled before the shoot rather than argued afterward.

Faster

Or just pay by card

Commercial bookings can also go through the card route above, which pays for your agreed booking and takes 5% off if paid in full.

Send your billing requirements and we will follow up within one business day.

05 — The small print, in plain words

What you are agreeing to.

The complete Studio booking terms cover delivery dates, two included revision rounds, cancellation and rescheduling, payment and usage rights.

Tax

Prices exclude sales tax

Every figure on this page is before any applicable sales or use tax. Applicable sales tax is calculated and invoiced separately after we confirm the details of your project; this checkout collects the service fee only.

Travel

Quoted separately

Rates cover work in and around New York. Travel beyond the metro area is quoted before you book, never added afterward.

Retainer

It holds the date and comes off the total

The retainer is 25% of the booking fee, rounded to the nearest whole dollar: part payment, not a fee on top. The balance is due on delivery. Where a booking is invoiced instead, the whole fee is invoiced on net 30 terms.

Cancellation

Refunds and rescheduling

Cancel 14 or more days before the session for a full retainer refund. With less notice, the retainer is non-refundable but may be moved once to a new date within six months. Family and newborn illness or rain reschedules are free whenever you tell us and override those limits. If the studio cancels, choose a full refund of everything paid or a new date. See the complete booking terms.

Newborn

Booked to a due date, not a day

Newborn sessions hold a provisional week and confirm once the baby arrives. Confirm the provisional week with us before paying the retainer.

Rights

Written down before the shoot

Personal sessions come with print rights for your own use. Commercial licensing is set out in the quotation. Either way it is in writing before the camera comes out — see rights and usage.
